Dead Island Details

February 17, 2011

In 2007, Dead Island was a game announced to be an exclusive title for the Xbox 360.  Very little was known about the title except for the fact that it was going to have a complex damage system that involved tearing through layers of muscle and bones to take down the enemies.

Well, four years later and Dead Island has reappeared on the radar, with news that it is no longer an exclusive title and will be brought to the PC, PS3 and 360 now.  The game takes place on a tropical island where a mysterious outbreak occurs unleashing a horde of zombies.  The game is a first-person adventure (not quite shooter) where you will utilize any numerous melee weapons to defend yourself.  It is also heavy in character development, think LOST meets Resident Evil.  It will also boast 4 player coop campaign.
