inFAMOUS 2 Imports Trophy Data for Rewards

News

Remember all that hard work you put into “inFAMOUS”?  Whether it was trying to find all 350 blast shards or completing the game twice (each time playing as good or evil), developer Sucker Punch has finally found a way to reward players through reading trophy data.  Upon booting up “inFAMOUS 2”, you will be asked to “import trophy data.”  After it does this process, it will reward the player based on specific trophies that you might’ve earned during your time with the first “inFAMOUS.”  Those rewards are as follows:

-Having a good or evil trophy from inFAMOUS will allow you to start inFAMOUS 2 at either level 1 good karma or level 1 evil karma.

-Found 25% of the blast shards nets you a free energy core in inFAMOUS 2.

-Found 50% of the blast shards nets you two free energy cores in inFAMOUS 2.

-inFAMOUS game completion earns you an extra 1,000 bonus XP for inFAMOUS 2.

-Certain trophies based on your decisions made in inFAMOUS will reflect on your side missions, dead drops and dialog (think Mass Effect’s decision carrying between the series).

Who would’ve thought that trophies would finally reward players!  This is excellent news and more developers should follow suit!  What are your thoughts on this?  Get you excited for “inFAMOUS 2” a bit more?
