Mass Effect 3 Will Feature Multiplayer After All

October 10, 2011

Casey Hudson tweeted earlier that Mass Effect 3 will indeed have a multiplayer component. Now I know what you’re thinking…why on EARTH (see what I did there) would they do that? Isn’t that going to take away from the superb single-player component? Well luckily, it has no “competitive” multiplayer at all but rather, online co-op missions! Casey didn’t mention details but he did state this:

“Yes, co-op MP missions for ME3: they’re real, and they’re spectacular. Rest assured it’s nothing of what you’ve feared. More soon…”

Well, so much for the multiplayer being about who can out-paragon or out-renegade each other in conversation…but online co-op is certainly a better component than that idea I just mentioned. What do you fans think? Sound off in the comments below!
