LittleBigPlanet Karting Leaked Early?

February 8, 2012

Rumors have surfaced about a MarioKart-esqe LittleBigPlanet game being in the works. Well, if the image leaked by @leklack is any indication of truth, then it appears that LittleBigPlanet Karting will be shown at Destination PlayStation on Friday (along with possibly Syphon Filter and God of War IV). While LittleBigPlanet fans may be excited for this, there’s only one question that needs to be asked. Why would Sony endorse another “Play, Create, Share” kart racing game if Modnation Racers was already the “LBP” of kart racing?

What do you guys think? Real or fake? Good idea or bad? Sound off in the comments below!

This is an interesting development, but it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen redundancy in the gaming market. We’ll have to see if LBPK has anything unique to offer, if it even exists.
