Stan Lee a Playable Character in “Amazing Spider-Man” Movie Game

March 1, 2012

Yes folks, you read that title correctly. The legendary Marvel Comics creator himself will be able to crime fight his way through New York City when Spidey is giving it a break. He confirmed his appearance as a playable character for the game at the London Super Comic Convention to Addict of Fiction.

Stan Lee has made appearances to the Marvel Entertainment films in the past such as Iron Man, Thor and the upcoming Spider-Man reboot. He also did voice over work for the N64/PS1 Spider-Man game, as well as a cameo appearance in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. The legend himself did admit that he’s never played video games before.

The Amazing Spider-Man game will be released on June 26th, 2012 for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, DS and 3DS. The actual movie will be released a week later on July 3rd.
