Resident Evil 6 Multiplayer Details Briefly Discussed

News

Resident Evil 6 is set to be in players’ homes on October 2nd this year and the staff here couldn’t be more excited for the game. During Capcom’s Captivate event, they announced some very brief details on the multiplayer aspect of the game. Aside from the game’s main campaign, there will once again be online and split-screen multiplayer modes. The game will have a “drop-in, drop-out” system but you won’t have to reload to or reach a checkpoint this time around thankfully.

The Mercenaries mode will return once again. However, you won’t have to beat the game to unlock it this time around. You can actually access the mode right from the get-go. While nothing is finalized, I’m personally still hoping that RE: Revelations’ Raid Mode will be incorporated into the game.

Mercs is nice, but I’d also like a new Raid mode.
