Beyond Good and Evil 2 Confirmed; First Screenshot Unveiled

May 8, 2012

News

Ubisoft has been ducking and weaving around whether Beyond Good and Evil 2 was still in development for quite some time. Today, Ubisoft has confirmed that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still very much in development and there’s an in-game screenshot to prove it. Click on the image below to fully enlarge it, showcasing the utmost detail in the game’s visuals.

The texture work looks incredibly detailed and sharp and that lighting gives it an almost photorealistic look. Beyond Good and Evil was one of the most underrated titles last generation, which is a shame. Ubisoft did bring an HD version to the table on the PSN and XBLA for a fair price of $9.99/800 MS Points for those (and there are many of you) who missed it the first time around. If you’ve never experienced Beyond Good and Evil, I strongly advise giving it a look.

What do you guys think of the screenshot? Have you played the first Beyond Good and Evil? Sound off in the comments below! Also, be sure to check out the first gameplay footage of the title showcased back in 2009!
