Hitman: Absolution Release Date Set for November; “Sniper Challenge” Live Next Week

News

IO Interactive has been teasing about an announcement this week and I covered the “leak” about the Hitman: Sniper Challenge being the possible information. Today, we can confirm that the Hitman: Sniper Challenge is indeed one of the two announcements they had set for release today. Starting May 15th, those who pre-order Hitman: Absolution from Gamestop will gain access to the stand alone DLC, Hitman: Sniper Challenge. The mode will have leaderboard support so that you can compete with your buddies to prove who’s a better hit man. Check out the trailer below for the sweet looking stand alone expansion.

The second announcement IO Interactive made today was the confirmation on the game’s release date. Fans can get their Silverballers and Fiber Wire ready for contract killing starting November 20th, 2012 when the game releases worldwide.

R17 covered a personal retrospective on the Hitman franchise just last week for those interested in seeing how the series evolved. Are you interested in Hitman: Absolution? Sound off in the comments below!
