YouTube App Coming to PS Vita at the End of June

June 1, 2012

News

There’s no denying that the PS Vita is a powerful, portable device. However, aside from the highly requested PS One backwards capability and more advanced Remote Play (that are both on the way), the Internet Browser can’t play YouTube videos. Sony aims to work around this issue by providing a YouTube app for free on the PS Vita later this month.

You will be able to do pretty much everything you’d expect from the YouTube app. Searching for videos, logging onto your account, making comments and all that good stuff will be intact with the application.

Are you PS Vita fans excited to get the YouTube app? Sound off in the comments below! Be sure to tune in with us during E3 on June 4th-7th as we cover everything happening there, as well as live blog the Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo Press Conferences!
